JP Du Preez
JP is a graduate from North West University (M.Sc cum laude) and registered as a Clinical Psychologist.
He pursued a career as Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in the School for Behavioural Sciences at Potchefstroom University from 1989 to 2004. Success Strategies, as a boutique consultancy, was started during this period. From the inception of Success Strategies he was involved in the design, implementation and validation of a variety of Organisational Development as well as assessment projects in the chemical industry (AECI, Polifin, SASOL & NATREF); mining industry (Harmony, Anglo Coal; SASOL Coal, Goldfields, ARMgold, DRD & Anglogold Ashanti), leisure industry (Sun International, Southern Sun and Ster Kinekor), dairy industry (CLOVER and Dairy Board of SA), telecommunications (TELKOM SA) and packaging (MPACT and MONDI).
Since 2000, with the inception of Success Strategies, JP and the team have been and are involved with performance improvement projects for some of the major players in the mining and manufacturing industries. Client companies include Harmony, Goldfields, Samancor Chrome, Xstrata Coal, ARM, AMPLATS, NATREF, SASOL and Reunert – CBI-Electric. The projects are mainly focused on the design, roll-out and assessment of organisational performance based interventions involving people from a Senior Management/Board level to the very lowest levels in the organisation.

Mnyamezeli Daniel Sambo
Daniel has had a career spanning 35 years with SASOL Mining. He was a member of the Executive Team with the responsibility of Corporate Communications. He has a wealth of experience in different Human Resources functions and was invited as a guest speaker to the Marcus Evans International Conference in London in 2007. Here he shared his views on the importance of communication in the workplace as an imperative for business success.
Daniel has multi-lingual abilities and the ability to coach managers, supervisors and team members to deal with the complexity of diversity in the workplace. He has established himself as an invaluable member of the Success Strategies team as facilitator, coach and mentor.

Arèt Du Preez
Arèt graduated from North West University (M.A. cum laude) and is a registered Clinical Psychologist. She has been involved in industry since 1987, first as an employee at the Chamber of Mines of SA and Sasol Chemical Industry, and subsequently as an Industrial Consultant in various industries (SCI, NATREF, CBI-Electric, SASOL Monomers, SASOL Synfuels, AECI, Polifin, Samancor, Goldfields, MPACT and MONDI.) She has extensive experience in Organizational Development, Culture Assessment, Leadership Assessment (Development Centres and Psychometric Assessment), Training and Development.
As a lecturer at Vista University and North West University, she was actively involved in the development of a curriculum for and training of psychometrists.
Many years of practicing as a coach and therapist has given her an in-depth understanding of the holistic person-work-life perspective when assessing and interpreting the psychological functioning of an individual for the best person-role-fit.

WENTZEL DU PLESSIS
An energetic, passionate and dedicated individual who enjoys the fields of strategic human development and talent management. Wentzel obtained a bachelors degree in Industrial Psychology and Labour Relations as well as an honours degree in Industrial Psychology at the North-West University. He has been registered with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a psychometrist (independent practice) since 2014. Wentzel has ample experience in the fields of psychometry, recruitment, human resource consulting, employment equity and industrial relations

Bernaas Swanepoel
Bernaas holds a Phd. in African Literature, obtained from the Potchefstroom University. His focal points have been in Children's Literature - the complexity of its communication system.
Bernaas has been the Head of the Languages Department and a Lecturer/Professor at the North West University for more than 20 years. During this time he has read various papers at national and international conferences in South Africa and abroad on issues concerning African Literature and Culture.
He joined Sasol Coal (now Sasol Mining) in 1996 where he was Manager of Internal Communications. His main responsibility was to manage the Communication Work Stream of Sasol Coal's comprehensive Renewal (change) Project. A big part of the project was to mobilize the total workforce towards the attractive End State that was envisaged by the Executive Team concerning critical success areas such as Safety, Production, Cost and quality.
For the last 15 years Bernaas has joined forces with JP and Success Strategies as a 'Mosupatsela (consultant) in the mining and manufacturing industries. His primary focus is on mobilizing the diversity input to ensure safe production and profitability. His understanding of the African Mindset and culture and his ability to speak and understand different African Languages gives him a competitive edge and enriches his interaction with the diverse population in the South African workplace.
